Spherical lamps are “in”. Luminous spheres such as the Artemide Dioscuri are showing up more often in interiors. That’s because they have a subtle design that matches most people’s taste.
Michele De Lucchi is one of the most important designers at Artemide. He started his career as an architect. Over the years, Michele De Lucchi has designed buildings in Italy, Germany, Switzerland and even Japan. He gradually became involved in lighting design.
Artemide Dioscuri is just one of his successful designs. His creations earned him all kinds of prizes, including the coveted Compasso d’Oro.
De Artemide Dioscuri has a diffuser made of matt glass. This ensures that the light is dispersed so there is no risk of glare. Also nice, the frosted glass looks very stylish. It looks like a luminous pearl.
You will find all variants of the Artemide Dioscuri in our webshop. We have both the ceiling lights/wall lamps (Parete/Soffito) and the table lamps (Tavolo). There are even Artemide Dioscuri fixtures that can be used outside. This design lamp is at home everywhere!
