Special choice of materials

The Silenzio from the Italian design brand Luceplan has a simple design but an exceptional finish. Despite the round shape, which creates a rather sober impression at first sight, the Silenzio still comes across as very impressive, partly because of the bold choice of materials. This modern pendant lamp fits perfectly into the rest of the Luceplan range, which is characterised by unique, contemporary designs.

Fabric lampshade

Designer Monica Armani has chosen textile as the material for the lampshade. The fabric exterior gives the Silenzio a classic, soft finish that immediately catches the eye when you walk into the room. The type of textile selected is Kvadrat Remix 2, which is a durable material with a particularly warm and inviting look. Ideal as an eye-catcher in any living space. The fact that a lot of thought has gone into the finishing of this light becomes even clearer when we look at the inside of the lampshade. The inside is serrated, which creates a special light effect.

Sound-absorbing lighting

An additional advantage of the fabric lampshade is its sound-absorbing effect. Silenzio lights help reduce background noise and are therefore extremely suitable for large rooms with very powerful acoustics. The collection includes four different colours: light grey, dark grey, sand, and rust. The Silenzio is also available in different sizes. A combination of lights with different diameters can create a playful effect.
